FAQ
Common questions, honestly answered.
The eight questions every couple, founder, or brand asks before signing. If you don't see yours below, send a note — we answer every email within forty-eight hours.
What is your starting investment for weddings?
+
Wedding commissions begin at $8,500 for an eight-hour day and most couples invest between $12,000 and $22,000 depending on coverage hours, locations, and album-and-print delivery selections. Full pricing is provided in writing after the initial inquiry conversation.
Do you shoot film, digital, or both?
+
Both — most often a hybrid workflow. Medium-format film (Hasselblad 503CW, Contax 645) for portraits and golden-hour key moments. Digital (Leica M11, Hasselblad X2D) for ceremony, low-light reception, and high-volume documentary coverage.
How many images do we receive and when?
+
Full galleries — typically 600 to 1,200 finished images for an 8-hour wedding. Delivered within 8 weeks. Editorial commissions deliver in 4 weeks. We do not deliver highlight-only galleries; the full curated set is the standard.
Will you travel for destination weddings?
+
Yes — and frequently do. Past international coverage includes Italy, France, Mexico, Morocco, Iceland, and Japan. Travel costs are billed at-cost and integrated into the wedding contract.
Do you offer albums and fine-art prints?
+
Yes. Hand-bound walnut, oak, or linen-cover albums printed from the same archival lab used by international gallery photographers. Print editions in solid walnut, oak, or aluminum framing.
How do you handle low-light reception venues?
+
Hybrid digital workflow with the Leica M11 paired with prime f/1.4 lenses, on-camera and off-camera flash sequences orchestrated to feel ambient rather than imposing, and a documentary instinct that knows when to sit out a moment versus when to step in.
Can we see a full wedding gallery, not just highlights?
+
Always. We share full galleries from past weddings with serious inquiries — under signed access, respecting the privacy of past clients.
How far in advance should we book?
+
9 to 14 months for fall weddings, 6 to 10 months for spring and summer. Saturdays in May, June, September, and October book first. 2026 dates are limited as of inquiry.
